Bail and Release in Suffolk County
Bail is posted at the Riverhead facility 24 hours a day. Yaphank accepts bail from 7 AM to 10:30 PM. All bonds go through Riverhead only. Payment types include cash, bank checks, cashier checks, and credit cards. Credit card payments have a 7% fee, and the total cannot exceed $10,000. Checks must be made payable to "Sheriff of Suffolk County, N.Y." The process takes several hours.
